Dr Mahesha Weerakoon

Dr Mahesha, an Australian-trained urologist deeply rooted in Queensland’s vibrant landscape, honed her skills training alongside the nation’s leading surgeons. Beyond clinical expertise, she is a dedicated researcher, making significant contributions to urological advancements. Serving as a specialist in Urology at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Dr Mahesha has made the Sunshine Coast her home. On her days off, she enjoys time with her family, beach strolls and the serenity of coastal life.
Dr. Abigail Attwell-Heap
(she/ her) MBBS, BSc (Biotech) (Hons), FRACS (Urology), FUSANZ

Dr. Attwell-Heap is a highly trained and experienced urologist with a strong background in various urology sub-specialties. Her medical journey has taken her through extensive training across Canberra, New South Wales, New Zealand, and Victoria, culminating in a fellowship at Queen Elizabeth and Jubilee Hospital in Brisbane, focusing on robotic surgery, upper tract oncology, and reconstructive surgery. She earned her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2023. Dr. Abby is not only skilled clinically but is also dedicated to research, teaching, and providing compassionate patient care.
