Surgical Fees
For most surgical procedures and operations, you can benefit from partial coverage by Medicare and your private health insurance.
Our office adheres to the standard fee recommended by the Australian Medical Association and in some circumstances, Dr Mahesha will provide a “No- Gap” or “Known GAP” service.
While Medicare and your private health insurance typically cover a significant portion of the surgical fee, it's important to note that in some cases, there may be a remaining out-of-pocket expense, known as the GAP.
A quote covering the proposed fees will be issued to you after you have discussed the procedure with Dr Mahesha.
